Abstract Submission Guidelines
What authors can submit
Authors who want their papers considered for oral or poster presentation will be required to submit a 4-page abstract paper.
The abstract should be uploaded onto the online submission system as a word or PDF file. The template to be used can be downloaded here.
Prior to submission the authors are required to sign up for a user account on the IWA online system. The deadline for submission is 7 June 2022.
WRRmod2022+ delegates will have access to digital pre-print proceedings that include the content that forms the technical programme. The submissions selected for oral presentation will be invited to submit a full paper and will be considered by IWA Publishing for potential publication in one of IWA Publishing journals
All authors (oral presenters, poster presenters, workshop organizers, training organizers) are requested to register to attend the WRRmod2022+ Conference.
Authors do not need to be members of IWA. However, IWA members have access to a series of benefits that include significant registration discounts.

Technical abstracts selected for oral presentation or poster by the scientific committee will be based on novelty, practical applicability, and scientific quality. Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings.
All the applications will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. After the review, they will make the final decision on the approved submissions for platform presentation or poster and the rejected papers. WRRmod2022+ will communicate by email the submission status by 29 July 2022.
The submissions portal will be closed on 7 July 2022, the review process will start after that. If you don’t submit your paper before the deadline, it wont be possible to consider your paper for the conference.
Workshop Proposal Guidelines
We invite you to propose workshops covering interesting topics in the context of wastewater modelling. These workshops can cover one of the focus areas above or another relevant topic in wastewater modelling. The selected workshops will be held at the conference venue and can either be full day or half a day. A full day workshop has a maximum duration of 8 hours, excluding breaks. A half-day workshop has a maximum duration of 4 hours, excluding breaks.
